Lucky John Vanrex Micro Game 7 151g Spinning Reel Front Drag FD

Lucky John Vanrex Micro Game 7 is a specialised spinning reel designed for micro game and ultra-light lure fishing. Weighing just 151 g, it is built for anglers who demand the lightest possible setup without sacrificing smoothness or reliability. The carbon fibre body and rotor keep the overall weight to a minimum, making the reel an excellent match for light rods and finesse presentations.

The reel lays the finest lines exceptionally well and prevents loops from forming when twitching and shaking lures, which is essential for this style of fishing. The smaller gear ratio gives this miniature reel its power, allowing you to retrieve lures with control and confidence even when working small, delicate presentations.

The front drag system (FD) provides smooth, consistent pressure when playing fish. The reel is equipped with 3 stainless steel ball bearings, 3 carbon steel ball bearings and 1 stainless steel roller bearing, ensuring reliable operation and a silky feel throughout the retrieve.

An instant anti-reverse system prevents backward movement of the rotor, giving you a solid hook set and precise control. The anti-reverse is activated by a flag-style switch located at the bottom of the reel, which is easy to operate even with cold or wet hands.

The gearing is exceptionally precise and made from a brass-aluminium alloy, which contributes to the reel's durability and smoothness. The carbon fibre body and rotor reduce weight while maintaining rigidity, and the lightweight aluminium spool helps keep the overall mass low. The hollow, reinforced bail is strong yet light, and the conical, enlarged line roller ensures the line is guided smoothly onto the spool.

The handle is mechanically machined from aluminium and features a threaded connection to the gear for a secure, wobble-free fit. The ergonomic handle knob is made from carbon fibre, providing a comfortable grip during long fishing sessions.

This reel is ideal for anglers targeting perch, trout, chub and other small to medium freshwater species with ultra-light lures, jigs and small spinners. Its lightweight construction and precise line lay make it a great choice for micro game fishing, where sensitivity and control are paramount.
