NGT Tip & Butt Protectors Connect are purpose-designed rod tip and butt protectors that shield your fishing rods from external damage during transport and storage. Whether you are travelling to a local venue or heading further afield, these protectors help prevent the kind of knocks, scuffs and abrasion that can occur when rods are carried loose, stacked in a quiver or stored alongside other tackle.

Each protector is manufactured from a high-quality, water-resistant 210D fabric. The 210D denier rating indicates a robust, tightly woven material that offers a good balance between durability and light weight, making it well suited to the demands of regular angling use. The water-resistant finish helps the fabric cope with damp conditions, wet banks and the occasional shower without immediately soaking through.

The design incorporates an adjustable elasticated strap, which allows the protector to be secured around the rod and held firmly in position. This adjustable fastening means the protector can be tensioned to suit the rod, helping to keep it in place while the rod is being carried or stored. The elasticated strap also makes fitting and removal quick and straightforward, so the protectors can be put on before a session and taken off again with minimal fuss.

With dimensions of 4.5 x 37 cm, the protectors are sized to cover the tip and butt sections of a rod, providing a physical barrier between the rod and the surrounding environment. This is particularly useful when rods are transported in a holdall, carried in a rod quiver or simply moved between swims, where the tip and butt are often the most vulnerable parts of the rod.

These protectors are a practical accessory for anglers who want to look after their equipment and reduce the risk of avoidable damage. By covering the tip and butt, they help protect against abrasion, minor impacts and general wear, supporting the long-term condition of the rod. They are suitable for a wide range of angling situations where rods are transported or stored, and they make a sensible addition to any angler's kit.

Whether you are heading to a day session or a longer carp campaign, this holdall keeps your set-up organised and ready for action.

The holdall is manufactured from a high-quality, very strong material that is built to withstand a variety of conditions. The base section is made from PVC, so when you place the holdall on wet grass or damp ground, moisture will not penetrate through the bottom. This is a particularly useful feature for anglers who regularly fish from uneven or wet banks.

The standout advantage of this holdall is its two-part design. One side is dedicated to carrying rods with reels attached. The reel area is padded with a special foam layer, helping to cushion your reels during transport. Velcro straps are also included to hold the rods securely and prevent movement inside the holdall.

On the other side, there is one large compartment that is ideal for storing banksticks, a landing net handle, a rod rest or even a brolly. This gives you a versatile storage solution without needing to carry multiple separate bags.

The reel area is padded with a special foam layer to cushion reels during transport, while Velcro straps hold the rods securely in place and prevent movement. Pro FL Rod Tip Protectors are a practical accessory designed to keep your fishing rods safe and tidy during transport and storage. Whether you are travelling to a local lake, loading the car for a weekend session or simply storing your rods between trips, these tip protectors help prevent damage to the most fragile part of any rod – the tip section.

The soft, padded ends of the protective sleeve cradle the delicate rod tip, helping to shield it from knocks, scuffs and accidental impacts that can occur when rods are carried in a holdall, rod bag or vehicle. Because rod tips are thin and easily damaged, a simple protective cover can make a real difference to the long-term condition of your tackle.

Each protector is secured with strong Velcro straps, which hold the cover firmly in place around the rod. This straightforward fastening system makes the protectors quick to fit and remove, so you can prepare your rods for transport without fuss and get fishing sooner.

The design is lightweight and unobtrusive, adding minimal bulk to your rod setup while still offering useful protection. The covers are suitable for use with a range of rod types and can be used on both single and multi-section rods, depending on the diameter of the tip section.

These rod tip protectors are an ideal addition to any angler's kit, particularly for those who regularly transport multiple rods or store them in crowded rod bags. They help keep tip sections separated and protected, reducing the risk of tangles and damage during transit.
