Fil Fishing CETUS 800 Ice Fishing Reel 3 Ball Bearings 5.0:1 Aluminium Spool

Fil Fishing CETUS 800 is a compact, lightweight ice fishing reel designed for anglers who want dependable performance in a small, easy-to-handle package. Built for winter fishing sessions, it combines a simple, robust design with the smooth operation needed when presenting small baits through the ice.

The reel features an aluminium spool, a material chosen for its light weight and resistance to the demands of cold-weather use. The aluminium construction helps keep the overall weight of the reel low, which is a real advantage when you are fishing with a short, sensitive ice rod and need to maintain a delicate balance in the hand.

Inside the reel, 3 ball bearings are fitted to support smooth rotation of the moving parts. This bearing setup contributes to a more consistent retrieve and helps reduce the friction that can otherwise make a reel feel rough, particularly during the slow, controlled presentations common in ice fishing.

The reel has a gear ratio of 5.0:1. This retrieve ratio allows a useful amount of line to be recovered with each turn of the handle, making it practical for adjusting bait depth, checking your presentation and bringing fish up through the hole without unnecessary effort.

Its compact dimensions make the CETUS 800 a natural match for lightweight ice fishing rods. The small body keeps the setup balanced and unobtrusive, while the reel remains comfortable to operate with cold hands or gloves during long sessions on the ice.

The Fil Fishing CETUS 800 is aimed at winter anglers who value a straightforward, reliable reel rather than a complicated one. It is suitable for typical ice fishing approaches where small jigs, spoons or baits are fished vertically beneath the hole, and where a smooth, controlled retrieve matters more than long casting performance.

With its aluminium spool, three ball bearings and 5.0:1 gear ratio, the CETUS 800 offers a practical combination of light weight, smooth operation and reliable line recovery for cold-weather fishing.
