Ready-Tied Whitefish Rig 260cm 0.16mm Line 0.12mm Hooklength Size 17 Hooks

Ready-Tied Whitefish Rig is a pre-tied terminal rig designed specifically for targeting whitefish (vendace and related species). Supplied ready to fish, it removes the need for time-consuming rig building on the bank and allows you to present a proven hook arrangement straight out of the packet.

The rig is built around a 0.16 mm main line, which forms the backbone of the setup, while the hooklength is tied from a finer 0.12 mm line. This combination of a stronger main body and a lighter hook section is a classic approach for small-mouthed, soft-lipped whitefish, where a fine, low-visibility hooklength can help improve bait presentation and hooking potential.

A total of eight size 17 hooks are mounted along the rig. Four of these are plain hooks, while the remaining four are fitted with fluorescent beads and tufts. The fluorescent elements add a visual attraction point, which can be useful when fishing for whitefish that respond to small, bright triggers, particularly in low light or coloured water. The mix of plain and dressed hooks gives you the flexibility to fish different baits or to adapt the presentation to the fishes' mood on the day.

At the top of the rig, a swivel clip is tied in. This allows quick and secure attachment to your main line or leader, and the swivel helps to reduce line twist during fishing. The overall length of the rig is approximately 260 cm, giving a generous spread of hooks that can be fished at different depths in the water column.

This rig is aimed at anglers targeting whitefish in stillwaters and slow-moving waters, whether from the shore, boat or ice. It is a practical, ready-made solution for anyone who wants a reliable whitefish setup without tying their own hooks and hooklengths.
