Select Tackles Alpha 2.2g Spinner Spoon Lure Trout Perch Pike Chub Fishing

Select Tackles Alpha 2.2g is a curved spoon-style lure developed specifically for trout fishing. Its compact, bent-spoon profile produces a lively, fluttering action in the water, making it a highly effective and very popular choice for trout in commercial fisheries and stocked stillwaters.

The Alpha is a true all-rounder that also tempts a wide range of other predatory species. Anglers regularly take perch, pike, chub and char on this lure, making it a versatile addition to any spinning box. Whether you are targeting stocked rainbows or wild river fish, the Alpha delivers a tempting presentation.

One of the standout features of this spinner is its ability to work effectively even when retrieved very slowly. The curved spoon blade continues to rotate and flash at low speeds, which is invaluable when fish are lethargic, in cold water or reluctant to chase a fast-moving lure. This slow-retrieve capability allows you to fish the lure deep and close to structure where trout often hold.

The Alpha is finished with a special, time-tested and field-proven paint finish. This durable coating has been refined through extensive testing to ensure it retains its attractive appearance and continues to trigger strikes after repeated use. The finish is designed to withstand the rigours of regular fishing while maintaining the visual appeal that draws predators in.

Measuring just 2.5 cm and weighing 2.2 g, the Alpha is a lightweight, compact lure that casts well on light spinning tackle and is ideal for ultralight and finesse presentations. Its small profile makes it particularly effective for pressured fish and clear-water situations where a subtle offering is required.

The Select Tackles Alpha is available in a range of nine colour options (01 to 09), allowing you to match the hatch or choose a high-visibility pattern depending on water clarity and light conditions. Each colour is designed to perform in a variety of fishing environments.

Ideal for trout, perch, pike, chub and char, this lure is suitable for both river and stillwater fishing. Its proven action and durable finish make it a reliable choice for anglers of all levels, from beginners to experienced spin fishermen.
