Select Tackles Gamma 2.2g Trout Spoon Lure 25mm Spinner for Trout Perch Pike

Select Tackles Gamma 2.2g is a curved spoon-style lure developed specifically for trout fishing. Its compact 25 mm body and 2.2 g weight make it a highly effective choice for targeting trout in commercial stillwaters, where it has become a very popular pattern among anglers. The Gamma also works well for other predatory species, including char, perch, pike and chub.

The lure is built around a curved spoon profile that produces a lively, wobbling action even when retrieved at very slow speeds. This makes it particularly useful in cold water or when fish are reluctant to chase fast-moving baits. The slow-speed effectiveness allows anglers to work the lure methodically through likely holding areas without relying on a rapid retrieve.

Each Select Tackles Gamma spoon is finished with a special painting process that has been developed and tested over time. This durable finish is designed to withstand repeated use and maintain its visual appeal, helping the lure continue to attract fish after many sessions. The range is available in nine distinct colour options, allowing anglers to match the hatch or choose a high-visibility pattern depending on water clarity and light conditions.

With a length of just 25 mm and a weight of 2.2 g, the Gamma is ideally suited to light spinning and ultralight tackle. It casts well on balanced gear and can be fished on a steady retrieve, with occasional pauses, or allowed to flutter on the drop. The compact size makes it a natural choice for trout and other smaller predators, while still offering enough presence to tempt larger fish.

Whether you are fishing a commercial trout lake, a small river or a stream, the Select Tackles Gamma 2.2g offers a proven combination of slow-speed action, durable finish and versatile colour options. It is a practical addition to any trout angler's lure box and a reliable choice for targeting a range of freshwater predators.
