Korda Mixa B Carp Hooks Thick Wire Barbless Micro Barbed Size 8 10 12

Korda Mixa B are a proven pattern of carp hook built from thicker-gauge wire, making them one of the most popular hook shapes for targeting larger fish. The heavier wire construction gives the hook extra strength and helps it hold its shape under the pressure of a hard-fighting carp, which is exactly why this pattern has earned such a strong following among serious carp anglers.

The Mixa B is manufactured to an exceptionally sharp finish straight out of the packet, so you can tie your rigs with confidence knowing the point is ready to prick the moment a fish takes the bait. The point is also barbless, which makes unhooking quicker and cleaner and is a requirement on many commercial fisheries and day-ticket waters across the UK.

Because the wire is thicker than a standard fine-wire pattern, the Mixa B is well suited to situations where you expect to encounter bigger, harder-fighting fish or where you want a little more confidence in the hook's ability to resist opening out. It is a dependable choice for a wide range of bottom-bait presentations, from simple hair rigs to more technical setups.

The hooks are supplied in a pack of 10 and are available in a choice of sizes, so you can match the hook to your chosen bait and the size of fish you are targeting. Smaller sizes suit smaller baits and more delicate presentations, while larger sizes are ideal when you want a bigger mouthful or are fishing for bigger carp.

Whether you are fishing a runs water or a low-stock big-fish venue, the Korda Mixa B offers a reliable, sharp and strong hook that has proven itself on the bank time and time again.
