Traper Corn Puff 8mm Strawberry Hookbait Floating Method Feeder Bait 20g

Traper Corn Puff 8mm Strawberry is a buoyant hookbait designed to lift the hook off the bottom and present it in a highly visible, attractive way. This floating corn-style bait is part of the Traper range of hookbaits aimed at anglers who fish method feeder and similar bottom presentations where a popped-up hookbait can make a real difference.

The bait is supplied in an 8mm size and a 20g pack, giving you a generous amount of hookbaits for multiple sessions. The 8mm diameter is a versatile size that suits a wide range of hook patterns and can be used on its own or trimmed to create a smaller presentation if required.

One of the key features of Traper Corn Puff is its strong and expressive strawberry aroma. This scent is designed to appeal to fish in Lithuanian and wider European waters, where fruit-flavoured baits are well proven for species such as carp, crucian carp, tench, bream and other coarse fish. The buoyancy of the bait helps to counteract the weight of the hook, making it easier for fish to take the bait confidently.

The bait can be used in several ways. It can be mounted directly on the hook, or combined on the hook with a live bait such as a maggot, worm or piece of corn. This combination approach gives you the visual and aromatic attraction of the Corn Puff together with the natural movement and scent of a live bait. Alternatively, it can be used with a hair rig system, where the buoyant bait sits above the hook and helps to improve hooking potential.

The working time of the bait is up to 15 minutes, after which it may need to be replaced to maintain optimum presentation. This is typical for buoyant hookbaits and ensures that the bait remains effective throughout your session.

Whether you are targeting carp on a commercial fishery, crucians in a quiet pond, or bream and tench in a larger water, the Traper Corn Puff 8mm Strawberry offers a convenient and effective hookbait option. Its bright colour and strong aroma make it a useful addition to any method feeder angler's tackle box.
