Akara Trout Time Rex 6.3cm Shrimp Soft Lure Trout Fishing Bait 10pc

Akara Trout Time Rex 6.3cm Shrimp is a soft plastic lure developed specifically for trout fishing, combining a distinctive ribbed body profile with a strong shrimp scent to tempt even the most cautious fish. Whether you are working a small stream, a stocked stillwater or a cold, coloured river, this lure is designed to keep performing when other baits stop producing bites.

The ribbed, segmented body is the key to the Rex's action. As the lure moves through the water, the pronounced ridges create an aggressive, vibrating movement that displaces water and appeals to the predatory instincts of trout. This lively action is effective at a range of retrieve speeds, from a slow, steady crank to a more erratic twitch-and-pause presentation.

What really sets the Trout Time Rex apart is its intense shrimp aroma. The scent is built into the lure rather than simply coated on the surface, so it continues to release attraction as the lure is worked. This is particularly valuable when trout are not actively feeding, when the water is cold, or when visibility is poor. In cold and coloured water, trout rely heavily on scent and vibration to locate prey, and the combination of the Rex's aroma and ribbed action gives you a genuine edge in these difficult conditions.

The lure is made from high-quality soft plastic materials with carefully selected flavourings, which helps it stay attractive for longer and resist drying out or losing its scent after repeated casts. This durability means you can keep fishing with confidence even when other soft lures have lost their appeal.

The Akara Trout Time Rex is recommended for use with JIG heads or single hooks, giving you flexibility in how you present it. Rigged on a JIG head it can be fished along the bottom or hopped through the water column; rigged on a single hook it works well as a finesse presentation for pressured fish. The 6.3cm length is a versatile size that suits both smaller resident trout and larger stocked fish.

Although designed with trout in mind, this lure is also effective for other predatory fish, making it a useful addition to any predator angler's box. It is supplied in a box of 10 lures, so you have plenty of spares for a full session or for sharing with a fishing partner.
