Korda Shrink Tube Weed - Carp Rig Shrink Tubing 1.2mm 1.6mm 8pcs

Korda Shrink Tube Weed is a specialist shrink tubing for carp rigs, designed to shrink to approximately one third of its original diameter when heated. This makes it an extremely versatile component for a wide range of rig presentations, allowing you to refine hookbaits, hook links and terminal tackle with precision.

Shrink tubing is one of the most useful items in a carp angler's rig box. When heated, it moulds tightly around the hook shank, knot or swivel, creating a neat, streamlined finish. This can help to improve hooking potential by extending the effective length of the hook point, or by closing off a knot for added security and a tidier presentation.

The Korda Shrink Tube Weed is supplied in a practical pack of 8 pieces and is available in two diameters: 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm. The 1.2 mm size is ideal for finer hook patterns and lighter rigs, while the 1.6 mm size suits larger hooks and heavier presentations. Both sizes offer the same reliable shrink ratio and are easy to apply with a lighter or heat gun.

Because it can be used in so many ways, shrink tube is a staple for anglers who like to adapt their rigs to the swim in front of them. Whether you are fishing over weed, silt or gravel, a small length of shrink tube can make the difference between a rig that sits perfectly and one that looks out of place. It can be used to create a line-aligner effect, to protect a knot, or simply to neaten the hook section of your rig.

This product is part of the Korda range of terminal tackle, a brand trusted by carp anglers for innovative and reliable components. The Korda Shrink Tube Weed is a simple but highly effective accessory that deserves a place in every carp angler's tackle box.
