Preston Line Protector Stop – Line & Knot Protection Stops 6pcs

Preston Line Protector Stop is a specialised stop designed for bottom and feeder fishing, where reliable rig presentation and the protection of delicate line and knots are essential. These stops are used to hold rig components such as beads, swivels or hooklengths in position on the main line, while shielding the line and the knot from the repeated impact and abrasion that occur during casting and retrieving.

In bottom and feeder fishing, rig components are constantly subjected to pressure and movement. Every cast, every retrieve and every bite can cause beads, swivels and stops to shift along the line, gradually wearing the line and weakening the knot. The Preston Line Protector Stop is designed to cushion this contact, helping to preserve the integrity of the line and the knot over repeated sessions.

The stops are simple to fit and adjust on the main line, allowing anglers to fine-tune rig length and component placement quickly. This makes them a practical choice for building and modifying feeder and bottom rigs on the bank, whether fishing a running feeder, a fixed rig or a simple running leger setup.

Each pack contains 6 stops, providing enough for several rigs or for replacing worn stops during a session. Their compact size and light weight mean they add minimal bulk to the rig and do not interfere with bait presentation or bite indication.

Supplied by Preston, a brand well known among coarse and match anglers, these line protector stops are a small but useful component for anglers who want to protect their terminal tackle and maintain consistent rig performance.
