Preston Space Maker Multi 50 Brolly 127cm Waterproof Coarse Fishing Umbrella

Preston Space Maker Multi 50 is a compact, highly practical fishing brolly designed to keep you dry in the rain and shaded from strong sun, while taking up as little swim space as possible. With a 127 cm diameter, it offers generous overhead coverage without dominating your peg, making it a sensible choice for anglers who want reliable shelter on the bank.

The canopy is made from a waterproof material with taped seams. Taped seams are an important detail on any fishing umbrella, as they seal the stitching lines where water would otherwise be able to seep through. This helps the canopy shed rain more effectively and keeps the area beneath it drier during prolonged spells of wet weather.

The frame is built from fibreglass, a material chosen for its combination of light weight and flexibility. Compared with more rigid frame materials, fibreglass can flex under load rather than snapping, which contributes to greater stability and helps the brolly cope with the movement and pressure it experiences on an exposed bank.

The tilt angle of the canopy is adjustable, so you can angle the brolly to suit the conditions. Whether the rain is driving in from the side or the sun is low and glaring across the water, the canopy can be repositioned to give you better protection where you actually need it, rather than being fixed in a single position.

A particularly useful feature is the presence of two fixing points. By setting the brolly in the lower position on windy days, you reduce the amount of exposed surface area and lower its profile. This helps protect the brolly itself from the risk of damage or breakage in gusty conditions, and also helps safeguard other items stored beneath it.

The central pole is thickened, giving the brolly a very solid and durable structure. A stronger pole is the backbone of a stable shelter, and this reinforcement supports the overall rigidity of the setup when the brolly is pitched and in use.

With its 127 cm diameter, waterproof taped-seam canopy, fibreglass frame, adjustable tilt and dual fixing points, the Preston Space Maker Multi 50 is a well-considered shelter for anglers who value dependable protection, stability and a compact footprint on the bank.
