Lucky John Classic Balance Lure Ice Fishing Perch Pike Zander 30-60mm 4-16g

Lucky John Classic is a balance lure that has earned a reputation as one of the most popular pendulum-style models among ice anglers. Designed for vertical jigging through the ice, it combines a compact body with a hard plastic tail that produces a wider and faster action in the water. This lively movement is particularly effective when predators are active and aggressively chasing prey.

The hard plastic tail is the defining feature of the Classic balance lure. Unlike softer tails, it transfers movement efficiently and creates a pronounced swimming action on both the lift and the fall. When perch, pike or zander are in a feeding mood, this faster and wider action can trigger decisive strikes. The lure is intended for under-ice fishing and is a reliable choice for anglers targeting predatory species in cold water.

Lucky John produces the Classic balance lure with two tail colour options: red (RT) and clear. The letter H next to a colour code indicates a holographic finish, which adds a 3D effect and enhances the lure's visual appeal in the water. This listing covers the red tail version (RT).

Every balance lure supplied in individual packaging includes a hanging treble hook with a coloured drop, regardless of the lure's size. This ready-to-fish setup means the lure can be tied on straight from the pack, saving time on the ice and ensuring the hook presentation matches the lure's intended action.

The Lucky John Classic is available in several lengths and weights to suit different fishing depths, target species and conditions:

• 30 mm – 4 g
• 40 mm – 6 g
• 45 mm – 8 g
• 50 mm – 13 g
• 60 mm – 16 g

This range allows anglers to choose a lighter lure for shallow water and cautious fish, or a heavier model for deeper water and stronger currents. The balance lure is designed for perch, pike and zander and is intended for under-ice fishing.
