The STEG Soluble Pop Up Smoke Ball 12mm Strawberry creates an impressive cloud of colour, flavour and attraction underwater. As soon as the bait reaches the bottom, the outer layer begins dissolving and releases a highly attractive fluorescent smoke effect packed with aromas and attractors.

The bait itself remains securely mounted on the hair rig or bait spike while the outer coating softens and gradually disperses around the hookbait. The carefully selected colour combinations have been heavily tested in both heavily stocked venues and natural lakes with outstanding results.

Thanks to its extremely high buoyancy, the bait lifts both the hook and bait spike approximately 7–8 cm above the feeder, making it especially effective over silty bottoms where standard hookbaits may sink into soft sediment.

The new fast-dissolving version releases flavours and attractors much quicker than previous generations, helping fish react almost instantly.
