Prologic Custom SMX MKII Bite Alarm Set 4+1 Blue Edition Carp Fishing

Prologic Custom SMX MKII Bite Alarm Set 4+1 is a reliable, high-quality and water-resistant bite alarm system comprising four bite alarms and a wireless receiver, supplied in a practical protective case. Designed for the serious and demanding carp angler, this set combines proven electronics with a robust, weather-resistant build so you can concentrate on the water rather than on your equipment.

The internal electronic system was tested for more than a year across Europe, which is how Prologic developed high-quality alarms intended to perform consistently in a wide range of conditions. The alarm housings are manufactured from strong, hard-wearing plastic, giving the units a solid feel and dependable protection during transport and on the bank.

Each alarm is fitted with a connector for bite indicators or swingers, and these also illuminate when a bite is registered. The alarms offer five volume levels and a silent mode, four sensitivity settings and seven tone settings, so you can tune the response to the swim, the species and the conditions. A dedicated drop-back LED and a dedicated drop-back tone help you recognise drop-back bites instantly, while the low-battery indicator warns you before power runs out.

The receiver mirrors the alarms with a memory function, silent mode and vibration mode, plus dedicated forward and drop-back LEDs and a pleasant night light. When a bite occurs, the receiver sounds and lights up in the colour of the alarm that has been triggered, so you can identify the active rod at a glance. The receiver range is stated as 300 m in the main description and 100 metres in the feature list; please verify the exact figure for your intended use.

This is the Blue Edition, in which all alarm signals use a blue LED. The alarms run on 2 x AAA 1.5 V batteries (not included), while the receiver is stated as running on either a 9 V battery or 2 x AAA 1.5 V batteries depending on the section of the source information; please confirm the correct power source before purchase. The practical case included in the set keeps the alarms safely stored during transport.

With their water-resistant construction, well-visible LEDs and comprehensive adjustment options, the Prologic SMX alarms are aimed at carp anglers who want dependable bite indication and clear, customisable alerts during long sessions.
