Marmax Mix Coarse Pellets 4-18mm 500g Carp Bream Tench Bait Hookbait

Marmax Mix Pellets 4-18mm 500g are a coarse, large-fraction pellet bait designed for anglers who want to add bigger, more selective particles to their feed or fish them directly on the hook. The 4-18mm grading gives you a versatile mix that can be used as a flavour-rich additive in groundbait, as loose feed, or as a hookbait in its own right.

These pellets are part of the Marmax Select range, a high-quality bait series developed with the experience of match and specimen anglers. The aim is simple: to give pleasure anglers and fishing professionals a reliable bait that helps them achieve their fishing goals, whether they are targeting big carp, bream, tench or other coarse species.

The manufacturing process uses extrusion technology, which helps preserve easily digestible proteins and energy sources within the mix. This means the pellets retain valuable nutritional content that fish can digest efficiently, making them a practical choice for both short sessions and longer baiting campaigns.

The recipe includes a blend of recognised bait ingredients such as corn, biscuits, soya, hemp seed, peanuts and linseed, finished with food-grade flavour extracts. This combination creates an attractive, natural-smelling pellet that works well in a wide range of coarse fishing situations.

Because the pellets are supplied in a 4-18mm mixed grade, they are particularly useful for building a feed area with particles of different sizes. The smaller fractions create a competitive feeding response, while the larger pellets give bigger fish something substantial to pick up. This can help you hold larger carp, bream and tench in your swim for longer.

As a hookbait, the larger pellets in the mix can be mounted directly on the hair or banded, depending on your chosen rig. They are also ideal for adding to a Method feeder mix, spod mix or PVA bag to introduce a concentrated pocket of larger food items around your hookbait.

Marmax Mix Pellets are suitable for stillwater and river fishing, and they work well in carp, bream and tench fishing as well as general coarse angling. The 500g bag is a convenient size for trying the bait, topping up your groundbait or keeping in your tackle box as a versatile additive.
