Marmax Select Tench Groundbait 2.5kg Green Sweet Bream Tench Coarse Fishing Bait

Marmax Select Tench is a specialist groundbait developed for targeting tench, one of the most popular and sought-after coarse fish in Lithuanian and wider European waters. This green-coloured, sweet-scented mix is formulated with a rich blend of natural ingredients that tench find highly attractive, making it an excellent choice for anglers who want to draw fish into the swim and hold them there for extended periods.

The groundbait is built around a carefully selected combination of maize, biscuits, soya, hemp seed, peanuts, linseed and food-grade flavour extracts. Each of these components contributes to the overall attraction profile, creating a mix that releases a steady stream of particles and scent into the water. The sweet aroma and green colour are particularly well suited to tench fishing, where a subtle, natural presentation often outperforms louder, more aggressive baits.

One of the key features of Marmax groundbaits is the use of extrusion technology during production. This manufacturing process helps preserve easily digestible proteins and energy sources within the mix, meaning the bait remains nutritionally valuable to fish even after it has been introduced to the water. For the angler, this translates into a groundbait that not only attracts fish quickly but also encourages them to stay in the baited area and feed confidently.

The 2.5 kg bag provides a generous amount of groundbait, making it suitable for both short sessions and longer campaigns where regular feeding is required. The mix is straightforward to prepare and can be used on its own or blended with other groundbaits, pellets or particles to create a custom mix tailored to the venue and conditions.

This groundbait is particularly effective for tench fishing in stillwaters such as lakes, ponds and gravel pits, as well as on slow-moving rivers and canals. It works well when used with a feeder, method feeder or pole, and can also be balled in by hand or catapult for traditional groundbaiting approaches. The green colour and sweet scent make it a strong choice for clear-water venues where tench can be cautious and selective.

Whether you are targeting tench specifically or simply want a reliable all-round groundbait that will also attract other coarse species, Marmax Select Tench offers a well-balanced, natural formulation backed by a manufacturer with a strong reputation in the bait market. Its combination of attractive ingredients, extrusion-preserved nutrition and proven appeal to tench makes it a valuable addition to any coarse angler's bait selection.
