VDE Super Method Mix 2kg Groundbait for Method Feeder Fishing

VDE Super Method Mix is a specialist groundbait developed by Marcel Van Den Eynde for method feeder fishing, a technique that has become increasingly popular and originally arrived from England, where it was used successfully on commercial lakes. The method feeder approach is based on inline feeders combined with very short hooklengths, with the hookbait either buried inside the groundbait or presented close to the feeder.

The principle is straightforward but highly effective. Fish in the area are attracted by groundbait breaking down from the feeder, and when they arrive they take the hookbait. As they try to move away, the weight of the feeder causes the hook to set. This simple system depends heavily on how the groundbait behaves in the water.

For method feeder fishing, the groundbait must begin to break down and separate from the feeder as soon as it reaches the lakebed. This requires a specially formulated mix rather than a general-purpose groundbait. VDE Super Method Mix has been created specifically for this purpose, giving anglers a mix designed to release attractors and particles at the right time.

Marcel Van Den Eynde has produced a range of groundbaits for this style of fishing in different flavours and colours, allowing anglers to adapt to conditions and target species. This 2 kg pack is a practical size for regular sessions and for building up a swim.
