VDE Super Method Mix - fishing with method feeder rods is becoming increasingly popular. This innovation comes from England, where it has been successfully used in commercial lake fishing. Basically, this system involves fishing with inline lines using very short lengths of leader with hooks on which the bait is placed. The hook may be hidden in the bait or simply dangle next to the bobbin. Any fish in the area will be attracted by the bait 'melting' from the shaker and will grab the bait - which is on the hook - when it comes up. They will then swim away and, under the weight of the shaker, they will be buried. This very simple and effective fishing system requires exceptional bait presentation. As soon as the bait reaches the feeder of the water, it must immediately begin to separate from the spoon. For this to happen, specially designed mixtures must be used. For this type of fishing, Marcel Van Den Eynde has developed different baits with distinctive flavours and colours.
