Deepex Wafter Dumbell 6/8mm Garlic Carp Method Feeder Hookbait

Deepex Wafter Dumbell 6/8mm – Garlic is a 2022 novelty hookbait range from Deepex, designed for anglers who demand a strong-smelling, highly visible bait that performs across a wide range of carp, bream and tench fishing situations. These wafters are built around a buoyant, elongated dumbell shape that makes them ideal for hair-rig presentations and Method Feeder work.

The wafter is a modern hookbait that sits somewhere between a bottom bait and a pop-up. Its carefully balanced buoyancy allows it to waft just above the lakebed or sit lightly on the bottom, depending on the rig and hook size used. This makes it an excellent choice for hair rigs, Method Feeder rigs and other bolt-rig presentations where a slow, natural movement of the bait can trigger a confident take.

The elongated dumbell shape is a key feature of this bait. It presents a larger, more attractive profile than a standard round boilie while remaining light enough to be mounted on a hair without affecting hookbait behaviour. The shape also helps the bait sit naturally on the lakebed or hover just above it, making it harder for cautious fish to detect the rig.

These wafters are produced with a strong garlic flavour and a carefully selected colour range. Garlic is a proven attractor in carp and coarse fishing, and the strong aroma helps draw fish into the baited area and encourages them to pick up the hookbait with confidence. The colour options are chosen to stand out against a variety of lakebeds and water conditions, improving visual attraction.

The Deepex Wafter Dumbell range is supplied in 6mm and 8mm sizes, with a pack weight of 40g. These sizes cover a wide range of hook sizes and rig presentations, from small Method Feeder hooks to larger hair rigs for bigger carp. The 6mm size is ideal for smaller hooks and cautious fish, while the 8mm size offers a bigger profile for targeting larger specimens.

Deepex has a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality baits for carp fishing. The company draws on extensive knowledge, ongoing consultation with anglers and continuous product development to create baits that are both effective and reliable. This experience is reflected in the Wafter Dumbell range, which is designed to be a dependable hookbait for both match and specimen anglers.

These wafters are suitable for a variety of fishing situations, including Method Feeder fishing, hair rig presentations and general coarse fishing for carp, bream, tench and other species. Whether you are fishing a commercial carp lake, a natural venue or a mixed coarse fishery, the Deepex Wafter Dumbell offers a versatile and highly attractive hookbait option.
