Avid Pro-Tect Flotation Sling is a purpose-built carp weighing sling designed for the safe retention and accurate weighing of carp. It allows you to keep the fish calm and fully supported in the water before and during weighing, helping to protect the fish while you prepare your scales and camera.

The sling is fitted with special non-sinking floats on the frame bars, which keep the bag buoyant and floating at the water's surface. This makes it much easier to transfer and retain the fish safely, and it reduces the risk of the sling sinking or becoming difficult to handle during the weighing process.

A strong, secure zip closure runs along the sling, keeping the fish safely enclosed once inside. The reliable zip helps prevent the carp from escaping or becoming unsettled, giving you confidence that the fish is held securely while you weigh it.

Ventilation is provided by mesh vents at the top and bottom of the sling. These allow water to flow through and help maintain good water exchange around the fish, which is important for keeping carp in good condition during short periods of retention.

Two large handles make it easy to attach the sling to the hook of your scales. The handles also help you lift and control the sling steadily, so the weighing process is straightforward and the fish remains supported throughout.

All seams are reinforced for added strength and durability, giving the sling a robust, long-lasting construction that is suited to regular use on the bank. The material is also easy to clean, so it can be rinsed and dried quickly after a session.

With dimensions of 109 x 57 x 44 cm, the Avid Pro-Tect Flotation Sling offers a generous internal space for retaining and weighing carp. It is a practical addition to any carp angler's kit, particularly for anglers who want a safe, fish-friendly weighing solution that is easy to use at the waterside.

Avid RVS Compact Rucksack is a compact, hard-wearing and highly practical fishing rucksack from the Avid Carp RVS range, designed for anglers who want a well-organised carry solution for shorter sessions without compromising on build quality. It combines functionality, durability and comfort in a single, neatly sized pack.

The rucksack is made from 400D Oxford Fabric, a tough and resilient material chosen for its resistance to the rigours of bankside use. This fabric helps the bag withstand regular contact with the ground, vegetation and general fishing tackle, while also being easy to wipe clean after a session. The result is a rucksack that is built to last and simple to maintain.

Access is provided by strong 10mm Avid zips, which allow the main compartment to be opened quickly and reliably. These robust zips are a key part of the bag's practical design, giving you fast access to your gear when you need it and helping to keep the contents secure during transport.

The main compartment offers generous space for larger items of fishing tackle and accessories, making it suitable for carrying the essentials for a short session. Smaller items such as hooklinks, leads, tools and personal accessories can be stored in the side pockets, helping to keep your kit organised and within easy reach.

Carrying comfort is addressed by the padded, wide and adjustable shoulder straps, which help distribute the load and make the rucksack comfortable to transport over longer walks to the bank. An adjustable waist strap adds further stability and helps keep the pack close to your body while moving.

With dimensions of 35 x 25 x 35 cm and a 30 litre capacity, the Avid RVS Compact Rucksack is a practical choice for anglers who prefer a compact, tidy setup. It is well suited to short carp fishing sessions, day trips and mobile angling where a full-sized rucksack would be unnecessary.
