Tackle House Bitstream Vantage SMD83 is a premium sinking lure manufactured in Japan and purpose-built for salmon and sea trout fishing. Combining exceptional Japanese craftsmanship with high-grade materials and advanced production technologies, this lure delivers reliable, effective performance in a wide range of waters.

The Bitstream Vantage is designed to work efficiently whether you are fishing fast-flowing rivers, deep pools or coastal marks. Its sinking action allows you to fish at depth and cover the water column systematically, making it a versatile choice for migratory fish.

Finished with high-quality paints, the lure produces a strong visual presence that attracts fish attention even in coloured or low-light conditions. The carefully selected colour patterns are matched to the feeding behaviour of salmon and sea trout, giving you an edge when fish are pressured or finicky.

Each lure is fitted with exceptionally strong, sharp treble hooks that are built to withstand powerful runs and large catches. The robust hook configuration ensures reliable hooksets and reduces the risk of hooks straightening or failing during the fight.

With a length of 83 mm and a weight of 11.5 g, the SMD83 is easy to cast accurately and tracks well in current. Its 1.1 m diving depth makes it ideal for targeting fish holding in the upper to mid-water layers, particularly in rivers and estuaries.

The Bitstream Vantage is available in a range of proven colour patterns (No.9, No.11, No.13, No.14, No.15, No.16, No.17, No.18, No.19, No.20 and No.21), allowing you to match the hatch or adapt to changing light and water clarity.

Whether you are a seasoned salmon angler or targeting sea trout in estuaries and coastal waters, the Tackle House Bitstream Vantage SMD83 offers the build quality, finish and fish-appeal expected from a top-tier Japanese lure.

Tackle House Bitstream Vantage FMD83 is a premium Japanese-made floating lure developed for salmon and sea trout fishing. Manufactured in Japan by Tackle House, this hard bait combines an eye-catching design with high-grade materials and the advanced production techniques used by Japanese craftsmen, making it a serious choice for anglers who demand reliable performance from their lures.

The Bitstream Vantage FMD83 measures 83 mm and weighs 10 g, giving it a compact yet substantial profile that can be cast accurately and worked effectively in a range of conditions. Its floating construction means it sits on the surface when stationary and can be retrieved with a variety of actions, allowing you to explore different depths and trigger reaction strikes from predatory fish.

With a diving depth of 0.9 m, this lure is well suited to fishing the upper layers of the water column. It is an excellent option for rivers, streams and shallow coastal marks where salmon and sea trout may be holding or moving through. The controlled diving depth helps keep the lure in the strike zone without snagging the bottom, making it practical for both bank and wading anglers.

The lure is finished with high-quality paintwork that produces a strong visual presence in the water. This detailed finish is designed to attract the attention of fish and can be particularly useful in clear water or bright conditions where presentation matters. The colour range available allows you to match the lure to the light, water clarity and the natural baitfish present in your venue.

Each Bitstream Vantage FMD83 is fitted with very sharp treble hooks, ready to fish straight from the box. Sharp hooks improve hook-up ratios when fish make tentative or short strikes, which is often the case with salmon and sea trout. The trebles are matched to the size and weight of the lure, helping to maintain balanced swimming action during the retrieve.

This listing covers a range of colour options, including No.1, No.9, No.13, No.14, No.16, No.17, No.18, No.20, No.21, No.22, No.23, No.24 and No.27. Whether you prefer natural patterns or brighter, more provocative finishes, there is a variant to suit different fishing situations and personal preferences.

In practice, the Tackle House Bitstream Vantage FMD83 is a versatile floating hard lure for salmon and sea trout anglers who value Japanese build quality, sharp hooks and a proven fish-attracting finish. Its 83 mm length and 10 g weight make it manageable on light to medium spinning tackle, while the 0.9 m diving depth keeps it working effectively in the upper water layers of rivers, streams and coastal marks.
