MadCat Propellor Subfloat 9cm 20g Wels Catfish Subfloat Lure

MadCat Propellor Subfloat 9cm 20g is a subfloat designed for wels catfish fishing. Its robust PU construction and wing profile make it a reliable choice for anglers targeting catfish in rivers and stillwaters.

The subfloat is built from PU (polyurethane), a material known for its toughness and resistance to wear. This makes it well suited to the demands of catfish fishing, where tackle is often subjected to heavy loads and abrasive conditions.

Its most distinctive feature is the winged design. When placed in a river current, the wings cause the subfloat to spin rapidly. This spinning action creates movement and disturbance in the water, which can help attract the attention of catfish. The subfloat is therefore not just a visual marker but an active part of the presentation.

The 9 cm length and 20 g weight give the subfloat a substantial presence. The weight helps it stay stable in flowing water and allows it to be cast with suitable catfish rods. The size makes it visible at distance, which is useful when fishing large rivers or wide expanses of water.

This subfloat is intended for wels catfish fishing. It can be used in river currents where the spinning wings come into their own, as well as in stillwaters where the movement may still provoke interest. It is a specialist item for anglers who want to add a dynamic element to their catfish rig.

As a subfloat, it is designed to sit below the surface, presenting a subtle profile while still creating disturbance through its rotation. This can be advantageous when catfish are wary or when surface activity is not desired.

The MadCat Propellor Subfloat is a durable, purpose-built accessory for catfish anglers. Its combination of tough PU material, spinning wings and practical size makes it a useful addition to a catfish tackle box.
