Selco Pro Catfish Rig Kevlar Trace Single & Treble Hook Catfishing Tackle

Selco Pro Catfish Rig is a ready-tied catfish rig built for anglers who target large catfish and want a dependable, tangle-free presentation straight out of the packet. The rig combines a single hook and a treble hook on one trace, giving you a dual-hook setup that can improve hook-up security when fishing for hard-fighting catfish.

The rig is tied on strong Kevlar trace line. Kevlar is widely chosen for catfish traces because it offers excellent abrasion resistance and very low stretch, helping the rig stand up to the rough mouths and powerful runs of big catfish. The low-stretch nature of Kevlar also helps transmit movement and resistance more directly, which can be an advantage when setting the hook at distance or in deep water.

The hook arrangement is a key feature of this rig. It is supplied with a single hook in size #8/0 and a treble hook in size #4/0. This combination gives you a large single hook for a secure hold and a treble hook to increase the chance of a solid hook-hold when a catfish takes the bait. The two hooks work together to create a presentation that is well suited to big-fish catfishing.

Because the rig arrives pre-tied, it saves valuable time on the bank. You can attach it quickly and spend more time fishing rather than tying complicated hook links. This is particularly useful during long sessions, night fishing, or when conditions make rig tying difficult.

The Selco Pro Catfish Rig is suitable for a range of catfish presentations where a single and treble hook combination is permitted. It can be used with a variety of catfish baits, and the strong Kevlar trace makes it a practical choice for venues holding large catfish. Always check the fishery rules regarding the use of treble hooks before fishing.

Whether you are fishing a dedicated catfish water or targeting catfish as part of a mixed-species session, this ready-made rig offers a convenient, strong and well-constructed solution. The combination of Kevlar trace line and quality hooks makes it a reliable option for anglers who want a dependable catfish rig without the need to build one from scratch.
