Katran Synapse Citron 1000m Monofilament Line Sinking Citrus Yellow

Katran Synapse Citron 1000m is a smooth, soft and exceptionally strong monofilament line in a bright citrus yellow colour. Designed for anglers who demand reliable knot strength and consistent performance, this line combines a supple feel with impressive durability, making it a dependable choice for a wide range of fishing situations.

Manufactured from copolymer, the Katran Synapse Citron is a low-stretch line that delivers very high breaking strength relative to its diameter. The copolymer construction helps the line retain its integrity under load, while the low-stretch nature supports solid hook sets and improved bite detection, particularly when fishing at distance or in deeper water.

The line features a special surface coating that reduces friction as it passes through the rod guides during the cast. This smoother passage through the rings helps minimise resistance and can contribute to longer, more efficient casts, allowing you to reach feeding fish that are holding further out.

The bright citrus yellow colour is highly visible, both in daylight and after dark. This makes the line particularly useful for night sessions, where being able to see the line clearly helps with bite indication, line management and detecting subtle movements that might otherwise go unnoticed.

As a sinking monofilament, the Katran Synapse Citron settles below the surface, helping to keep the line out of the wind and reducing the bow created by surface currents. This can improve contact with your rig and support more direct bite registration, especially when fishing on the bottom or in moving water.

The line is supplied on a generous 1000 m spool, offering excellent value and enough material to fill multiple reels or to re-spool several times over the course of a season. It is available in a range of diameters to suit different fishing requirements, from lighter presentations through to heavier, more powerful setups.

Available diameters and approximate breaking strains:

• 0.234 mm – 4.55 kg
• 0.261 mm – 5.15 kg
• 0.286 mm – 6 kg
• 0.309 mm – 7.01 kg
• 0.331 mm – 7.5 kg

Whether you are targeting coarse fish, carp or other species, the Katran Synapse Citron offers a practical combination of strength, suppleness and visibility. Its smooth finish, low stretch and sinking properties make it a versatile line for a variety of freshwater and general fishing applications.
