Shimano Speedmaster Surf Taper – tapered surfcasting shock leader with a diameter that gradually increases from 0.20 mm to 0.57 mm. The thinner end connects to the main line, while the thicker section handles the high loads generated during casting.

The tapered construction is particularly suitable for long-distance casting with heavier leads, helping provide safe and accurate casts while offering additional protection against line breakage both during powerful casting and when playing fish.

Each spool contains 10 individual shock leaders, each 15 m long, ready for regular surfcasting use.
