Cralusso General Match Monofilament Line 150m Clear Match Fishing Line

Cralusso General Match is a clear, reliable monofilament line designed for demanding match and coarse fishing situations. Supplied on a 150 m spool, it combines a smooth, even surface with excellent resistance to UV light and abrasion, making it a dependable choice for both main line and hooklength or rig construction.

The line is manufactured from quality monofilament material with a smooth and uniform finish. This helps the line pass cleanly through rod guides and reduces friction during casting and retrieval. The clear colour improves camouflage in a wide range of water conditions, which can be useful when fishing pressured venues or clear water where fish may be wary of visible tackle.

One of the key characteristics of the Cralusso General Match is its high resistance to UV rays. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can weaken some lines over time, so UV resistance helps maintain line integrity during long sessions and repeated use. The line is also designed to withstand abrasion against other surfaces, such as gravel bars, stones, wooden platforms and marginal features, giving anglers more confidence when fishing near snags or rough bottoms.

The Cralusso General Match is a versatile option that can be used as a main line on float, feeder and pole set-ups, or as a material for tying rigs and hooklengths. Its balanced combination of strength and manageability makes it suitable for a variety of match and pleasure fishing approaches where a reliable, low-visibility line is required.

The line is available in five diameters, allowing anglers to match the line to the target species, venue and fishing method. The breaking strains are as follows:

• 0.16 mm – 3.46 kg
• 0.18 mm – 4.14 kg
• 0.20 mm – 5.12 kg
• 0.22 mm – 6.54 kg
• 0.25 mm – 8.19 kg

Whether you are targeting small silver fish on light tackle or larger specimens on heavier set-ups, the Cralusso General Match offers a practical balance of strength, clarity and durability. Its 150 m spool length provides ample line for multiple re-spools or for constructing a number of rigs.
