Korda N-Trap Soft Silt Hooklink Material 20m Braided Coated Carp Rig Line

Korda N-Trap Soft Silt is a coated braided hooklink material developed for carp anglers who demand a versatile, reliable rig material that performs in demanding conditions. Supplied on a 20 m spool, it combines a tough matt outer coating with a supple inner braid, giving you a hooklink that can be fished as it comes or stripped back for a softer, more natural presentation.

The outer coating is built to resist abrasion, helping the hooklink cope with rough lakebeds, gravel bars, snags and marginal features. This makes it a practical choice for waters where rigs are subjected to constant wear. The matt finish keeps glare to a minimum, so the material sits discreetly on the lakebed and blends with darker substrates.

One of the key strengths of N-Trap Soft is its versatility. The coating can be stripped away to expose the inner braid, allowing you to create a softer, more mobile section near the hook or along the length of the hooklink. This is useful when you want a more natural bait presentation or when fishing pressured carp that may be wary of stiff, obvious rigs.

In venues with more snags, weed or obstructions, the material can be used with the coating left intact. The protected outer layer helps reduce the risk of damage and gives you greater confidence when fishing close to features where fish may try to reach cover. The combination of a durable coating and a flexible inner braid makes the material adaptable to a wide range of rig presentations.

Available in Dark Green and in 15 lb, 20 lb and 30 lb breaking strains, Korda N-Trap Soft Silt covers everything from subtle, low-visible presentations to stronger hooklinks for bigger carp and more demanding situations. The 20 m spool gives you plenty of material for tying multiple rigs, making it a practical addition to any carp angler's rig wallet.
