Prologic ELEMENT XD 7000-8000 BF Big Pit Reel Long Cast Carp Fishing Reel

Prologic ELEMENT XD 7000-8000 BF is a high-quality big pit reel engineered for long casting distances and for targeting large fish. Built around a lightweight yet rigid graphite body and rotor, it combines the strength needed for demanding carp and specimen angling with the smooth, reliable performance that serious anglers expect from a modern long-cast reel.

The graphite body and rotor keep the overall weight down without sacrificing structural rigidity. This is particularly valuable when you are casting repeatedly at range, as a lighter reel reduces fatigue and helps the rod and reel balance more naturally in the hand. The rigid construction also helps maintain alignment under load, which supports consistent performance during powerful casts and hard fights.

At the heart of the ELEMENT XD is a precisely adjusted drag system. It is designed to deliver smooth and dependable operation, allowing you to apply controlled pressure when playing big fish while still giving line when needed. A drag that engages smoothly and releases line evenly can help reduce the risk of hook pulls and line breakages during sudden runs.

The reel is available in two big pit sizes, 7000 and 8000, both supplied in BF specification. These larger body sizes are intended for long-distance work and are well suited to big pit style fishing where line capacity and casting performance matter. The 7000 size offers a more compact big pit option, while the 8000 size provides a larger platform for anglers who prefer a bigger reel.

With its long-cast orientation, the ELEMENT XD is a natural choice for carp fishing, specimen hunting and other situations where reaching distant features or showing bait at range is important. The combination of a lightweight graphite build, a rigid frame and a smooth drag system makes it a practical reel for anglers who want reliable performance without unnecessary weight.

Whether you are fishing large lakes, gravel pits or reservoirs, the Prologic ELEMENT XD 7000-8000 BF is designed to support long-range casting and confident fish playing. Its balanced blend of strength, low weight and dependable drag control makes it a capable addition to a big pit or long-cast setup.
