Savage Gear Orange LTD FD 1000-4000 Spinning Reel DuraGrease Friction Drag

Savage Gear Orange LTD FD 1000-4000 is a high-quality, durable spinning reel built for anglers who demand reliable performance session after session. Designed around the needs of modern spinning and lure fishing, it combines a robust body with smooth, consistent operation, making it a dependable choice for a wide range of predator fishing situations.

The body and rotor are constructed from tough yet lightweight GRC material, a combination that helps keep the reel manageable in the hand while still offering the structural rigidity needed for repeated casting and retrieving. This balance between low weight and strength is particularly valuable during long sessions where fatigue can affect accuracy and control.

The handle is machined from CNC-finished SST aluminium, a construction chosen for maximum strength and durability. A solid, precisely machined handle transmits the angler's input directly to the reel's internal mechanism, contributing to a more direct and confident feel when working lures or playing fish.

Inside the reel, Savage Gear has incorporated a range of distinctive innovations. Among these is the patented DuraGrease system, a high-quality grease formulated to protect the reel's internal mechanisms against wear and corrosion. By maintaining effective lubrication over time, DuraGrease helps support consistent performance and contributes to the long-term reliability of the reel's moving parts.

The Friction Control Drag system uses carbon fibre washers to deliver exceptional power together with an exceptionally smooth and gentle operation. A drag that engages progressively and releases line evenly gives the angler greater control when a fish makes a sudden run, reducing the risk of hook pulls or line failure at critical moments.

The Savage Gear Orange LTD FD is available in four sizes — 1000, 2500, 3000 and 4000 — allowing anglers to match the reel to their preferred rod, line and target species. Smaller sizes suit light spinning and finesse presentations, while the larger sizes offer a more substantial platform for heavier lure work and bigger fish.

With its combination of GRC body and rotor construction, CNC-machined SST aluminium handle, DuraGrease internal protection and carbon fibre Friction Control Drag, the Orange LTD FD is a well-considered spinning reel for anglers seeking durability, smoothness and dependable drag performance in one package.
