Pro FL Pink Panther Feeder 5000 Reel Feeder Fishing Reel Coarse Match

Pro FL Pink Panther Feeder 5000 is a fixed spool reel from Pro FL designed for feeder and coarse fishing, where reliable line lay and smooth operation make a real difference over a long session. The Pink Panther Feeder series is built around the demands of modern feeder angling, and the 5000 size sits in the range that suits most commercial and natural venue work.

The reel is intended for anglers who fish method feeders, cage feeders and bomb rigs on stillwaters, canals and slow to medium-paced rivers. A 5000-size body gives a useful balance between line capacity and overall weight, so it pairs naturally with the feeder rods most commonly used in the UK, typically between 9ft and 12ft.

As part of the Pro FL Pink Panther Feeder line-up, this reel is aimed at the angler who wants dependable, fuss-free performance rather than gimmicks. The front drag arrangement allows you to set the clutch to suit the hooklink and target species, so you can play fish confidently without risking hook pulls or break-offs on the strike.

The 5000 size is a practical all-rounder. It holds enough line for long casts on larger stillwaters while remaining light enough to balance a rod for repeated casting. That makes it a sensible choice for bream, tench, carp, chub and barbel work, as well as general coarse fishing where a feeder rod is the main tool.

Because the reel is designed around feeder fishing, it is best matched with a feeder rod and a braid or monofilament main line suited to the venue and the feeders you intend to use. Pairing the reel with a balanced rod, line and feeder setup is the key to getting the most from it on the bank.

If you are looking for a dedicated feeder reel in the popular 5000 size from a recognised brand, the Pro FL Pink Panther Feeder 5000 is a straightforward, purpose-built option for the coarse and match angler.
