FOX EOS Baitrunner Reel 5000-7000 Carp & Bottom Fishing Reel 5 Ball Bearings

FOX EOS Baitrunner Reel 5000-7000 is a robust, reliable reel with a matte black finish, built around a proven free-spool (baitrunner) system with an adjustable rear drag. Since its launch in 2013 the EOS range has become remarkably popular with anglers who value dependable performance session after session.

The reel is sensitive during the retrieve, so you can feel every movement of the fish, while the free-spool facility lets you fish with an open, controlled line release when required. This combination makes the EOS a versatile choice for both carp and bottom fishing, whether you are targeting calm, cautious fish or larger, harder-fighting specimens.

Construction and design – The EOS is built with a strong, durable body and a matte black cosmetic finish that resists glare on the bank. The reel is designed to feel solid in the hand and to maintain smooth operation under load.

Bearings and handle – Five stainless steel ball bearings support smooth running and consistent performance, while the large handle provides comfortable, powerful winding, even when retrieving under pressure.

Baitrunner system – The adjustable rear drag free-spool function allows you to set a controlled release of line, which is useful when fishing with bite alarms, bobbin indicators or when you want the fish to take line before you strike.

Available variants – The FOX EOS Baitrunner is offered in 5000 and 7000 sizes, covering a range of carp and bottom fishing situations. The 5000 size suits lighter to medium setups, while the 7000 size offers a larger body and spool for heavier work.

Fishing applications – Suitable for carp fishing and bottom fishing, the EOS Baitrunner performs well when targeting both calm and larger, stronger-fighting fish. Its sensitive retrieve and reliable free-spool make it a practical choice for stillwater and river sessions where controlled line release is an advantage.
