MiracleFish XH 4000-6000 Baitrunner Reel for Carp & Bottom Fishing

MiracleFish XH 4000-6000 is a baitrunner reel designed for bottom fishing and carp fishing, combining a free-spool system with a robust aluminium body. It is a practical choice for anglers who want reliable bite protection without spending a fortune.

The Baitrunner (free-spool) system is the standout feature of this reel. When a large fish takes the bait and pulls hard, the free-spool mode releases line under light tension, protecting your rod, line and rig from being dragged into the water. Once you pick up the rod and start reeling, the main drag engages instantly, giving you full control during the fight.

The reel body is made from aluminium, which gives it a solid feel and good resistance to the knocks and bumps of regular bank-side use. The 5.5:1 gear ratio allows you to retrieve line quickly, which is useful when you need to tighten up after a long cast or bring a fish under control near the net.

The spool features a metal line clip that holds your line securely when you are fishing at a set distance or using a marker float. The metal handle with a soft grip knob provides comfortable winding even during long sessions, and the handle can be folded for transport.

Depending on the size you choose, the spool holds over 150 metres of 0.30 mm line. The medium-depth spool design helps with long casts, making the reel suitable for reaching distant features or feeding areas. The reel is supplied with one plastic spare spool, so you can carry a second line strength or rig setup without changing the whole reel.

For bottom fishing, the 4000 and 5000 sizes are the most balanced choices, offering a good compromise between line capacity and weight. For carp and other larger specimens, the 6000 size provides extra line capacity and a stronger feel when targeting bigger fish.

Overall, the MiracleFish XH is an excellent option for the beginner angler who wants to try bottom fishing or carp fishing without investing in high-end tackle. It offers the essential features — baitrunner, aluminium body, metal clip and a fast retrieve — at an accessible level.
