Asseri Caster Plus 70cm 3-30g Winter Ice Fishing Rod + Bite Indicator

Asseri Caster Plus is a compact winter spinning rod built for ice fishing, supplied with an integrated bite indicator. With a length of 70 cm and a casting weight of 3-30 g, it is designed for short, accurate presentations through the ice, where a short rod is easier to control inside a shelter or when fishing close to the hole.

The handle is made from cork, a traditional rod-building material that offers a warm, secure grip in cold conditions and keeps the overall weight of the rod low. A comfortable handle matters on a winter rod, because the angler often holds the rod for long periods while watching for the slightest movement of the tip.

The rod is fitted with large-diameter guides. The bite indicator is also equipped with large guides. This is a practical detail for winter fishing: larger rings are less likely to clog with ice, so the line runs more freely and the angler does not have to clear the guides as often on particularly cold days.

The rod tip is designed to transmit the touch and the strikes of fish clearly. On a short winter rod, the tip is the main source of feedback, so a tip that registers contact well helps the angler react at the right moment rather than striking too early or too late.

With its 70 cm length and 3-30 g casting weight, the Asseri Caster Plus suits light winter presentations and short-range work over the ice. It is a practical choice for anglers who want a dedicated, easy-to-handle winter rod with a built-in bite indicator rather than a separate indicator setup.
