Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Big Bait Spinning Rod 2.59m 70-150g Pike Musky

Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Big Bait 2.59m 70–150g is a heavy-power big bait spinning rod, designed for anglers targeting large predatory fish with extra-heavy lures.

The rod features a reinforced, progressive blank, built to cast and control very large soft plastics, jerkbaits, glide baits and swimbaits while handling hard strikes and powerful runs from big fish with confidence. Perfect for pike, zander, musky and other strong predators.

Constructed from 24+30T high modulus carbon, the blank delivers an excellent balance of strength, sensitivity and durability, even when fishing the heaviest lure weights. The action remains controlled, allowing precise lure presentation and solid hook sets.

Fitted with SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN inserts, the rod provides smooth line flow, reduced friction and long-term reliability with braided and monofilament lines. The Double-Lock reel seat keeps the reel firmly secured during intense big bait fishing.

Supplied with a Competition Ready-To-Fish rod case, ensuring safe transport and storage.
