Sportex X-Act Trout RS-2 Spoon 1.98m 0.2-8g Spinning Rod

The Sportex X-Act Trout RS-2 Spoon is a premium spinning rod specifically designed for trout fishing with small spoons, soft lures and ultra-light crankbaits. This model stands out with its precise casting performance, excellent sensitivity and natural lure control, allowing anglers to fully maximise the effectiveness of lightweight lures.

The blank is constructed from high-quality Toray High Performance Carbon, making it extremely slim, lightweight and perfectly balanced. Weighing only 80 g, the rod remains comfortable even during long fishing sessions and helps reduce arm fatigue.

Its sensitive tip transmits every lure movement and even the lightest bite directly into the angler’s hand. The handle section is additionally reinforced with modern Carbon Mesh carbon weave, improving overall durability while giving the rod a stylish premium appearance.

Unlike the standard X-Act Trout RS-2, the Spoon version features a Medium action, which absorbs aggressive trout runs and jumps extremely well, reducing the chance of losing hooked fish. This action also allows confident control over larger fish while maintaining excellent fishing enjoyment.

Lightweight KL / KT SiC guides ensure smooth line flow, accurate casting and contribute to the rod’s low overall weight. The ergonomic reel seat improves comfort and enhances lure feedback even further.

Sportex also provides an impressive 10-year blank warranty.
