Pro FL Fighter River Strong 5m 10-40g Telescopic Float Rod 5pc 7 Rings

Pro FL Fighter River Strong 5m 10-40g is a five-metre telescopic float rod designed for anglers who want a lightweight, powerful and versatile tool for both stillwater and river fishing. Built from carbon fibre, it combines a slim handle and an attractive finish with the strength needed to handle hard-fighting fish in flowing water.

The rod is constructed from carbon fibre, a material chosen for its favourable strength-to-weight ratio. This helps keep the rod light in the hand during long sessions while still offering the backbone required for positive hook sets and controlled playing of fish. The declared casting weight of 10-40 g makes it suitable for a wide range of float fishing presentations, from light river floats to heavier stillwater rigs.

The five-piece telescopic construction allows the rod to be packed down compactly for transport and storage, making it a practical choice for anglers who travel light or need a rod that is easy to carry to remote swims. The telescopic design also means the rod can be set up quickly on the bank, which is useful when you want to move between pegs and make the most of short sessions.

Equipped with seven rod rings, the rod guides the line smoothly along the blank during casting and retrieving. The metal reel fitting provides a secure and durable attachment point for a float or match reel, helping to keep the reel firmly in place even when playing larger fish. The slim handle contributes to a comfortable grip and a balanced feel in the hand.

The rod has a responsive action that bends smoothly under load and absorbs the lunges of a hooked fish. This helps protect light hooklengths and reduces the risk of hooks pulling during the fight. The combination of a forgiving tip and a strong lower section makes the rod well suited to targeting species such as roach, bream, chub, ide and small carp in mixed fisheries.

Thanks to its 5 m length and 10-40 g casting weight, the Fighter River Strong is a good match for float fishing on rivers and stillwaters. It can be used with a range of float sizes and rigs, making it a practical all-round rod for anglers who fish a variety of venues. Whether you are trotting a float down a river or presenting a bait in a lake, the rod offers the length and power to reach fish and control them effectively.

Overall, the Pro FL Fighter River Strong 5m 10-40g is a lightweight, carbon fibre telescopic float rod with a slim handle, seven rings and a metal reel fitting. Its five-piece design, 10-40 g casting weight and smooth bending action make it a versatile choice for float anglers fishing rivers and stillwaters.
