Pro FL River Method Feeder is a powerful, robust tool built for long-distance casting on rivers and stillwaters. The blank is manufactured from high-quality carbon fibre, giving the rod the strength and recovery needed when fishing at range with heavy feeders and method leads.

The rod is fitted with a new-generation set of wide K-type guides. The first guide has a diameter of no less than 30 mm. These large, wide guides ensure smooth line flow and help you achieve long, accurate casts, particularly when using thicker lines or shock leaders.

The reel is secured by a convenient screw-down reel seat that tightens from above, keeping the reel firmly in place during powerful casts and hard fights. The handle is an open design with a cork-composite end. On the 3.60 m version the handle length is 51 cm, while the 3.90 m version measures 56 cm. The long handle makes long-distance casting easier, as it allows you to grip the butt section comfortably with your hands spaced further apart for extra leverage.

The rod is supplied with five tips of different ratings — three fibreglass tips and two carbon tips. This selection lets you adapt the rod to different conditions, flow rates and feeder weights. The tip guides are fitted with an anti-tangle tulip that prevents the line from wrapping around the tip during the cast and retrieve.

The action is parabolic with a fast recovery. When playing a fish, the whole blank works to absorb surges and protect light hooklinks, while the fast recovery helps maintain control and casting performance. During the cast the butt section loads well, and after the cast the rod returns smoothly to its resting position.
