Custom Baltic Pro Carp 3.90m 3.5lb 3-Piece Carp Rod 30T Carbon 6 Guides

Custom Baltic Pro Carp 3.90m 3.5lb is a three-piece carp rod built for anglers who need reliable long-range casting performance combined with practical transportability. With a length of 3.90 m and a test curve of 3.5 lb, it is designed for modern carp fishing where distance, control and dependable componentry all matter.

The blank is constructed from 30T carbon fibre, a material chosen for its favourable balance of low weight and structural rigidity. This helps the rod remain manageable during long sessions while still offering the backbone needed for powerful casts and confident fish-playing. The action is described as medium-fast, making the rod responsive through the middle and tip sections while retaining enough power lower down for casting and controlling carp at range.

The rod is supplied in three sections with a transport length of 135 cm. This makes it considerably easier to carry in a holdall, fit into a car boot or store between sessions than a conventional two-piece rod of similar length. For mobile anglers, weekend sessions and venues reached on foot, the compact packed size is a genuine practical advantage.

Guide placement is built around six large rings, with a 50 mm first guide and a 16 mm final guide. The large butt guide helps reduce line slap and allows line to flow freely during the cast, which is particularly useful when using shockleaders or heavier main lines. The remaining guides continue the line path smoothly along the blank, supporting efficient casting and consistent line control.

A reliable reel seat secures the reel firmly in position, helping to maintain a solid connection between reel, line and rod under load. Close to the reel fitting there is a line clip eye, a practical detail that allows the line to be secured when the rod is broken down or stored, reducing the chance of tangles and making setup quicker.

The rod features a long handle that assists with long-distance casting by giving the angler more leverage and a more stable grip during the cast. The rear of the handle is slim and rubberised, providing a non-slip surface that remains secure in wet weather and helps prevent the hand from sliding during powerful casting or playing actions.

With its 3.90 m length, 3.5 lb test curve and medium-fast action, the Custom Baltic Pro Carp is suited to carp fishing situations where distance and control are required. It is a practical choice for anglers looking for a three-piece carp rod with a compact transport length, large-diameter guides and a comfortable, secure handle arrangement.
