Akara Ice Profi 70cm Ice Fishing Rod Winter Rod for Balance Jigs & Spoons

Akara Ice Profi 70cm is a highly versatile ice fishing rod that combines an attractive design with dependable performance on the ice. Built for anglers who demand reliability in cold conditions, it is a practical choice for a wide range of winter fishing situations.

The rod is fitted with large-diameter guides, a detail that makes a real difference during freezing weather. Larger rings are less prone to clogging with ice, so you spend less time clearing the guides and more time fishing. This is a genuine advantage on long, cold sessions when ice build-up can otherwise interrupt your presentation.

The well-damping blank absorbs the shocks and lunges of a hooked fish in a smooth, controlled manner. This cushioning effect helps protect light winter lines and reduces the risk of hooks pulling free during the fight, making the rod feel composed even when a fish makes a sudden run.

The handle is made from natural cork, offering a comfortable and secure grip that stays pleasant to hold in low temperatures. It incorporates a plastic reel seat with a firm locking mechanism, keeping your reel solidly in place while you work the lure. Just above the handle there is a small hook keeper, a convenient touch that lets you secure your hook or lure safely between fishing spots.

This rod is most commonly used for fishing with balance jigs, spoons and devil lures, making it a versatile tool for targeting perch, zander and other winter predators. Its 70 cm length provides a good balance between manoeuvrability inside a shelter and enough reach to work lures effectively through the ice.

Whether you are jigging for perch or presenting spoons for zander, the Akara Ice Profi 70cm is a well-rounded ice rod that covers a broad range of winter techniques with ease.
