MiracleFish Phantom Carp Rod 3.90m 100-300g Carbon Carp Fishing Rod

MiracleFish Phantom Carp is a dedicated carp rod designed for the angler taking their first confident steps into serious carp fishing. It combines a robust carbon fibre blank with a thoughtful guide layout and a comfortable EVA handle, making it a dependable choice for sessions on commercial lakes, gravel pits and larger stillwaters where carp are the target.

The rod is built on a stiff, strong carbon fibre blank. Carbon fibre is valued in carp rods because it keeps the blank light enough to hold for long periods while still offering the backbone needed to cast a baited rig accurately and to apply pressure when playing a fish. The stiffness of the blank helps transfer energy efficiently through the cast, so the rod loads and unloads smoothly rather than feeling soft or vague.

Wide-diameter guides are fitted along the blank, with the first guide measuring 29 mm across. A larger butt guide reduces line friction on the cast and allows line to peel away freely, which is particularly useful when fishing with heavier leads, PVA bags or larger hookbaits. The guide spacing and sizes are chosen to support controlled casting without the line slapping or bunching on the blank.

One of the most appealing characteristics of the Phantom Carp is how well it transmits every knock and pull from the fish. The carbon construction and responsive tip section mean bites register clearly, whether you are fishing a tight line to a bolt rig or watching for drop-back indications. This feedback helps you judge the right moment to strike and gives you a genuine sense of connection during the fight.

The handle is a part-length EVA grip. EVA is a closed-cell foam that offers excellent grip even when your hands are wet, muddy or covered in bait glug. It is also durable and easy to wipe clean, which matters on long sessions where the rod is handled repeatedly. The part-length design keeps the handle compact while still providing enough purchase for powerful casting and playing.

With a length of 3.90 m and a casting weight range of 100–300 g, this rod is suited to a wide variety of carp rigs and lead sizes. The 3.90 m length gives useful reach for casting distance and for steering fish away from snags, while the broad casting weight range covers everything from light method feeder work to heavier lead setups. It is a practical all-rounder for the developing carp angler who wants one rod that can handle different situations.

In use, the Phantom Carp is at home on commercial carp waters, day-ticket lakes and medium-sized pits. It pairs naturally with a baitrunner or big-pit reel, a braided or monofilament main line and a simple bolt rig or running lead setup. Whether you are fishing short sessions after work or a full weekend on the bank, the rod offers the strength, control and bite indication that carp fishing demands.
