Flagman In-line Link Paternoster Rig 50cm Hook Size 12 0.16mm Line

Flagman In-line Link is a ready-tied Paternoster rig designed for bottom fishing, offering a practical and reliable solution for anglers who want a tangle-free presentation with minimal setup time. The rig is supplied pre-tied, so it can be attached to the main line and fished straight from the packet.

The In-line Link configuration is built around a single hook and a dedicated attachment point for a feeder. This allows the angler to introduce groundbait or loose feed directly at the hookbait, keeping the bait and the feed in close proximity. The result is a concentrated feeding area around the hook, which can help to draw fish in and encourage confident takes.

The rig is tied with a 0.16 mm hooklength, a diameter that balances finesse with enough strength for general bottom fishing. The size 12 hook is a versatile choice that suits a wide range of baits, including sweetcorn, pellets, maggots and small boilies. The 50 cm length gives a natural presentation while keeping the rig manageable for accurate casting.

Because the feeder is mounted on the link rather than fixed directly to the hooklength, the rig can be used with a variety of feeder styles. This makes it suitable for stillwater and slow-to-medium-flow rivers where a static or semi-static presentation is required. The in-line arrangement helps to reduce tangles during the cast and keeps the hookbait sitting naturally on the lakebed or just above it.

The rig is tied to a high standard using quality components, which is important when targeting wary fish in pressured waters. A neat, consistent knot and a correctly positioned hook can make a noticeable difference to hooking efficiency, particularly when fish are feeding cautiously.

Whether you are fishing a commercial carp lake, a natural venue or a river, the Flagman In-line Link rig provides a dependable starting point. It is equally useful for the experienced angler who wants a reliable spare rig in the box and for the newcomer who prefers a ready-made solution over tying their own.
