Prof Montaz Carp Rig 40-50g Leadcore Helicopter System Hair Rig Ready Tied

Prof Montaz Carp Rig 40-50g is a ready-tied carp fishing system designed for anglers who want a reliable, tangle-free presentation straight out of the packet. The rig is built on a Leadcore leader, with a 40 g or 50 g feeder running freely along the leader. This running feeder arrangement allows the carp to move off with the bait while the feeder stays on the leader, giving a more natural bait presentation and helping to reduce the resistance felt by the fish.

The business end of the rig features a strong carp hook tied to a braided hooklink and finished with a hair rig. The hair allows a boilie, pellet or other carp bait to be mounted separately from the hook point, which is a proven presentation for wary carp. Because the hooklink is braided, it remains supple and can be combed or straightened to sit naturally on the lakebed.

Every component is professionally tied and ready to fish. There is no need to build the rig yourself, tie knots at the bank or measure out hooklink lengths. This makes the Prof Montaz system a practical choice for anglers who want to spend less time on rig preparation and more time fishing, as well as for newcomers to carp fishing who want a dependable starting point.

The Leadcore leader helps the rig follow the contours of the lakebed and can improve presentation over gravel, silt and weed. Its heavier construction also assists with keeping the last section of the rig pinned down, which can be useful when fishing near features or in situations where carp are cautious of line above the lead.

The system is supplied in two weight options, 40 g and 50 g. The lighter 40 g version is well suited to shorter casts, margin fishing and softer lakebeds where a lighter lead is preferred. The 50 g version offers more weight for longer casts or for holding bottom in wind and tow. Both versions share the same ready-tied construction and hair rig presentation.

This rig is suitable for a wide range of carp waters, from commercial day-ticket lakes to gravel pits and estate lakes. It can be used with a variety of carp baits, including boilies, pellets and other hair-mounted offerings. Whether you are fishing a quick overnight session or a longer campaign, the Prof Montaz Carp Rig provides a simple, tidy and effective setup.
