Pro FL Black Panther Feeder Rod 3.60/3.90m 50-150g Carbon Bottom Fishing Rod

Pro FL Black Panther Feeder is a dedicated bottom fishing rod built for anglers who need to fish with heavier leads and hold bottom in demanding conditions. Designed with river fishing in mind, it combines a carbon fibre blank with a set of three glass fibre quiver tips of differing sensitivity and stiffness, giving you the flexibility to adapt the rod to the swim in front of you.

The blank is constructed from carbon fibre, a material chosen for its combination of low weight and strength. This helps keep the rod manageable during long sessions and gives it the backbone needed to cast and control heavier feeder rigs. The rod is supplied with three glass fibre tips, each offering a different level of sensitivity and stiffness so you can fine-tune bite indication to the conditions.

Tip selection has a direct effect on how the rod behaves. Fitting the red tip makes the rod stiffer and less sensitive, which is a practical advantage when fishing in a strong current where a softer tip would be constantly pulled over by the flow. The green and yellow tips make the rod more sensitive, helping you register more delicate indications when the current is gentler or the fish are feeding cautiously.

With a casting weight of 50 to 150 g, the Black Panther Feeder is well suited to fishing heavy leads. This range covers situations where substantial weight is required to keep the bait and feeder where you want them, and it also allows you to cast the rig a long distance when the swim demands it. The rod is therefore a sensible choice for large rivers and other venues where flow and distance are key factors.

The comfortable handle provides a secure grip, which matters when you are holding the rod for long periods or applying pressure to a hooked fish. A firm hold makes it easier to control the fight and to keep the rod steady while waiting for bites.

The Pro FL Black Panther Feeder is available in two lengths, 3.60 m and 3.90 m, so you can choose the version that best matches your preferred swims and casting requirements.
