BKK Stinger Rig BN Soft Lure Stinger System 49 Strand AFW Wire Hooks 1-2/0

BKK Stinger Rig BN is a ready-made stinger rig designed for use with much larger soft lures, where a single hook is often not enough to secure a confident hook hold. Built around a 49-strand, exceptionally supple stainless steel wire that is nylon-coated by AFW, this stinger system combines outstanding strength with the flexibility needed to sit naturally along the body of a big softbait.

The 49-strand construction is the key feature of this rig. Because the wire is made up of many fine strands rather than a single stiff core, it remains highly flexible while still offering impressive tensile strength. This flexibility allows the stinger to follow the movement of the soft lure without restricting its action, which is particularly important when fishing large shads, swimbaits and other bulky soft plastics.

The AFW nylon coating adds a further layer of protection and durability. The coating helps shield the stainless steel wire from abrasion and reduces the risk of the wire cutting into the soft lure material. It also gives the rig a smoother, more discreet finish that sits neatly against the lure body.

Fitting the stinger is straightforward. Using a boilie needle or baiting needle, gently thread the stinger into the mouth or nose section of the soft lure. This allows the hook to be positioned precisely where you want it, so the stinger can be set up to suit the size and shape of the lure being used. The result is a clean, secure presentation that keeps the hook in the optimum position for a positive hook set.

The BKK Stinger Rig BN is supplied as 1 piece per pack and is available in a choice of hook sizes to match different lure sizes and target species. The size options and their approximate breaking strengths are:

• Size 1 – withstands up to 28.4 kg
• Size 1/0 – withstands up to 28.4 kg
• Size 2/0 – withstands up to 40.8 kg

With its combination of high strand count, supple AFW nylon-coated stainless steel wire and strong BKK hooks, this stinger rig is a practical choice for anglers fishing large soft lures for big predatory fish. The range of sizes means you can match the rig to the lure and the fishing situation, from smaller softbaits up to the largest shads and swimbaits.
