Rapala Soft Olio 18cm 55g Soft Lure for Big Pike & Predator Fishing

Rapala Soft Olio 18cm 55g is a large soft lure designed for anglers who target serious predators. If you have never quite believed in monster lures before, the Soft Olio is a compelling reason to change your mind. As a close relative of the Peto and Otus lures, it brings the same big-fish mentality into a soft-bodied presentation that swims with real character.

On the retrieve, the Soft Olio moves with a supple, side-to-side action that mimics a wounded baitfish. Its most distinctive feature is the irresistible movement of the double twister tail, which kicks and rolls even at slow speeds. This means the lure keeps working when you need a subtle, slow presentation rather than a fast, aggressive retrieve.

The soft plastic construction is central to the lure's performance. The structured body of the Soft Olio is built to generate greater vibration in the water, helping fish locate the lure through their lateral line as well as by sight. The body can be rigged in a variety of ways, allowing you to optimise the presentation for the water you are fishing and the mood of the fish.

At rest, the tail continues to flicker enticingly while the lure slowly sinks through the water column. This combination of a slow sink rate and a lively tail makes the Soft Olio effective on the drop as well as on the retrieve, covering different depths and giving predators more opportunities to commit.

The lure is finished with 3D scales, high-quality silicone and time-proven colour patterns. These details give the Soft Olio a realistic, fish-catching appearance and make it a highly desirable target for predatory fish. It is particularly well suited to use with a Mustache rig, which complements the soft body and double tail presentation.

With a length of 18 cm and a weight of 55 g, the Soft Olio is a substantial lure intended for big predatory fish. It is available in a range of proven colours, including Halloween, BGH, Fire Tiger, Blue Glitter, Rainbow Trout, Sunny Snow, Lava Roach, Live Perch, Minnow, Scaled Roach, Smelt On the Beach, Silver and Black Red Copper.
