Savage Gear SG4 Medium Game Spinning Rod 1.98m 12-35g Toray 30T Predator Rod

Savage Gear SG4 Medium Game is a very lightweight spinning rod built on a high-quality Japanese Toray 30T carbon fibre blank. Designed for the angler who values sensitivity and control, this rod delivers a responsive, well-balanced feel that makes accurate and enjoyable casting of a wide range of lures effortless.

The Japanese Toray 30T carbon blank is the heart of the SG4 Medium Game. Toray carbon is widely respected in the tackle industry for its consistent quality and strength-to-weight ratio, and the 30T specification gives the rod a crisp, responsive action that transmits lure movement and subtle takes clearly. At just 118 g, the rod remains comfortable to hold and fish with for extended sessions, reducing fatigue during long days on the water.

The comfortable EVA handle is a practical choice for cooler conditions, as EVA does not feel as cold to the touch as some alternative grip materials and provides a secure, non-slip hold even when wet. This makes the rod pleasant to use throughout the year, from early spring sessions to late autumn trips.

Thanks to its perfectly balanced construction, the SG4 Medium Game allows precise and smooth casting of various lure types. The 12-35 g casting weight range covers a broad spectrum of lures, from lighter soft plastics and small spinners to medium-sized crankbaits, jerkbaits and spoons, giving the angler flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and target different predators.

This spinning rod is intended for catching a variety of predatory fish. It performs equally well whether fishing from a boat or from the bank, making it a versatile choice for anglers who fish different venues. The sturdy Alien Lock reel seat holds the reel firmly in place, ensuring a solid connection between rod and reel during casting and fighting fish.

With its lightweight build, quality Toray carbon blank and balanced action, the Savage Gear SG4 Medium Game is a well-rounded spinning rod for predator anglers seeking a reliable, comfortable and precise tool for a wide range of lure fishing situations.
