Rapala Soft Peto 18cm 51g Soft Lure X-Rap Peto Pike Predator Fishing Bait

Rapala Soft Peto 18cm 51g is a soft plastic predator lure that takes the proven fish-catching action of the best-selling X-Rap Peto and makes it even more versatile. The soft body version retains the enticing swimming action that has made the hard-bodied X-Rap Peto so popular, while adding the benefits of a supple, textured soft plastic construction.

The Soft Peto is built around a strong, durable tail section that allows the lure to be retrieved at any speed without losing its correct and enticing action. This means the lure adapts effortlessly to a wide range of situations, whether you need to fish slowly around structure or burn it back quickly to trigger a reaction strike.

One of the key features of the Soft Peto is its versatile rigging options. The lure can be rigged in a variety of ways, giving anglers the flexibility to adapt their presentation to the conditions and the mood of the fish. This versatility makes it a valuable addition to any predator angler's tackle box.

The soft plastic body of the Soft Peto is textured, which allows it to push more water than a smooth lure of similar size. This increased water displacement creates greater vibration in the water, helping fish to locate the lure even in low visibility or at distance. The vibration also adds to the lure's attraction, appealing to the lateral line of predatory fish.

The three-dimensional scale pattern gives the Soft Peto a unique and realistic appearance. This detailed finish mimics the natural scales of baitfish, making the lure more convincing to wary predators. Combined with the lifelike swimming action, the 3D scale pattern helps to trigger confident takes from pike, perch and other predatory species.

At 18cm and 51g, the Soft Peto is a substantial lure that casts well and appeals to larger predators. It is ideal for pike fishing, but also works well for other large predatory fish. The weight makes it suitable for both casting and trolling, and the soft body ensures a natural feel that fish hold onto longer.

Available in a range of proven colour patterns, including Firetiger, Halloween, Blue Ghost, Blue Glitter, Rainbow Trout, Sunny Snow, Lava Roach, Live Perch, Minnow, Scaled Roach, Smelt On the Beach, Silver and BLRC, there is a Soft Peto to suit different waters and light conditions.
