Prof Montaz Carp/Crucian Rig 20-40g Leadcore Hair Rig Method Feeder System

Prof Montaz Carp/Crucian Rig 20-40g is a ready-tied bottom fishing system developed for carp and crucian carp, yet versatile enough to tempt a wide range of other coarse and specimen species. Produced in Ukraine, it combines dependable workmanship with robust components, making it a practical choice for anglers who want a reliable rig straight out of the packet.

The rig is built on Leadcore leader material, which helps the system settle neatly on the lakebed and keeps the terminal tackle tangle-free during the cast. This construction is particularly useful when fishing over gravel, silt or light weed, where a controlled presentation can make a real difference to bite indication.

A single hook is attached to the main system using a braided hooklink. The braid offers a soft, supple connection that allows the hookbait to behave naturally, while the single-hook arrangement keeps the rig simple and effective for wary fish. The hooklink is tied and ready to fish, so you can concentrate on baiting and casting rather than building the rig bankside.

The system is supplied with a watermelon-shaped method feeder, a popular style for carp and crucian carp fishing. Its shape helps hold groundbait or pellets securely on the feeder, releasing attraction around the hookbait. The feeder weight can be selected to suit conditions, with 20 g and 40 g options available. Lighter feeders are well suited to calm, shallow or close-range situations, while heavier feeders help hold bottom in wind, tow or deeper water.

This is a bottom fishing rig designed for use with a bottom or feeder rod. It is a practical choice for stillwaters, commercial fisheries and natural lakes where carp and crucian carp are the main target, and it can also account for other species that pick up the same bait presentation.

Available variants: 20 g and 40 g feeder weights.
