Handmade Smelt Rig 80cm 4 Hooks Size 10 Glow Oats Fudo Hooks ZR

Handmade Smelt Rig is a Lithuanian-made, hand-tied smelt fishing system designed for anglers targeting smelt through the ice or in open water. Built around a proven four-hook configuration, this rig combines bright glow-in-the-dark oat-shaped lures with sharp Fudo hooks to create an effective presentation that smelt find difficult to resist.

The rig features four oat-shaped lures that are popular among smelt anglers for their realistic profile and movement. Each lure is finished with a bright glow-in-the-dark coating, making the rig highly visible in low-light conditions, under ice, or during night sessions. This luminous effect helps attract smelt from a distance and encourages confident takes.

Each of the four hooks is a sharp Fudo hook in size 10, a pattern well regarded for reliable hook holds when targeting smaller species. The hooks are spaced along the rig to present multiple lures at different depths, increasing the chance of intercepting active fish.

The entire system is tied on exceptionally high-quality line, chosen for its strength, suppleness and knot reliability. A swivel with a snap is included for attaching a weight, allowing anglers to quickly adjust the rig for different depths and conditions. The swivel also helps reduce line twist during fishing.

With an overall length of 80 cm, this rig offers a balanced spread of hooks that suits a variety of smelt fishing situations. It is equally effective when fished vertically through ice or when presented in open water from a boat or shore.

Whether you are a seasoned smelt angler or trying the species for the first time, this handmade rig offers a ready-to-fish solution with proven components. The combination of glowing lures, sharp hooks and quality line makes it a practical choice for anyone looking to improve their smelt catches.
